1 lb. lean ground beef 4 cups cooked Riceland Gold Perfected Rice, divided 1 Tbsp. minced onion 1-1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce, divided 1 cup shredded process American cheese, divided
Combine ground beef, 1/2 cup rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1 can tomato sauce. Press this mixture into a 10-inch pie plate; mold ground beef to form a pie shell. Combine remaining rice and tomato sauce and 1/2 cup cheese. Press this mixture into the meat shell and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350F for 35 minutes or until meat is fully cooked.
