Rice Feed Ingredients and Hulls

Riceland Foods, Inc. markets full fat and defatted rice bran and hulls as ingredients for livestock feed. Riceland livestock feed products are produced through the cooperative's milling and processing operations at its Arkansas milling centers in Stuttgart and Jonesboro.

Defatted rice bran also is sold as an ingredient for the pet food industry. Rice hulls are used as a pressing aid in fruit juice extraction and as bedding in poultry houses.

For more information on the feed ingredients and rice hull products that Riceland can provide, please contact Sherry Brantley, sales manager rice feed ingredients, at sbrantley@riceland.com or call 1-870-673-5314.

Full Fat Rice Bran is the pericarp or bran layer and germ of the rice, with only such quantities of rice hull fragments, chipped, broken, or brewers rice and calcium carbonate as is unavoidable in the regular milling of edible rice.
