Riceland Foods, Inc. markets full fat and defatted rice bran and hulls as ingredients for livestock feed. Riceland livestock feed products are produced through the cooperative's milling and processing operations at its Arkansas milling centers in Stuttgart and Jonesboro.
Defatted rice bran also is sold as an ingredient for the pet food industry. Rice hulls are used as a pressing aid in fruit juice extraction and as bedding in poultry houses.

Nutritional information of rice bran and rice polishings as reported by D.F. Houston, G.O. Kohler, National Academy of Sciences, Nutritional Properties of Rice.
Defatted Rice Bran is full-fat bran that has gone through an extrusion process, where as much oil as possible is extracted from the rice bran through a hexane extraction process. The rice bran is then dried and ground into a consistency suitable for feed ingredients.
