U.S. soybeans, corn and wheat futures eased further on Friday weighed down by heavy losses on Wall Street and a stronger dollar that followed the poor U.S. economic data.
A U.S. government report released on Wednesday showing larger than expected soybean and wheat stocks continued to add a bearish tone.
The Dow and S&P 500 suffered their worst one day fall in three months on Thursday after economic reports fueled fears about a lack of recovery strength.
Oil fell Friday to trade around $70.47 per barrel after gaining slightly on Thursday as the negotiations with Iran about the Opec member’s nuclear program sparked concern that outweighed demand worries prompted by the poor U.S. economic data.
The forecast for the Grand Prairie for the next five days shows the first couple with sunshine and the next few with chances of rain that will slow down harvest again.
