Clay’s Wild Rice
1 stick butter
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 sticks Smoked Sausage, sliced
1 cup Riceland Extra Long Grain Rice
2 cups water
- Melt butter in a large pan over medium high heat until melted. Sauté onion, pepper, sausage until veggies begin to soften. Add rice and water. Stir to combine.
- Bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat to simmer. Cover with a tight fitting lid and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Stir and let stand for 5 minutes. Eat and Enjoy!
