250 Billion Gallons Saved
Water is the world's most critical natural resource. Everyone relies on water for life, and this is especially true for rice production.
289,000 Tons in Total Carbon Reductions
Reducing carbon emissions leads to cleaner air, healthier soils, and stronger farms. In 2024, Riceland farmers cut 136,000 tons of CO₂ through proven, on-farm practices, delivering meaningful environmental benefits and real results across the supply chain.
$8.5 Million in Farmer Payouts to Date
To date, Riceland has distributed more than $8.5 million to farmer-members through the Carbon Ready™ program, rewarding climate-smart practices and proving that sustainability can pay off, both in impact and income.

Riceland is our farmer-owned Co-op so choosing to work on a program like this through them was a no brainer. It not only rewards us for the practices we implement but also showcases the sustainable decisions Riceland members make.

The Carbon Ready program provides support for many practices we wanted to implement as we work to conserve water, reduce irrigation expense, and manage nutrients. The data collection aspect fit in seamlessly with other conservation projects we were working on.
At Riceland, sustainability isn't a buzzword - it's a shared responsibility.
From the fields our farmer-members carefully cultivate to the products our partners deliver to consumers, every step reflects our commitment to caring for the land, protecting natural resources, and supporting future generations. Through collaborative programs like Carbon Ready™, we’re turning that commitment into real, measurable impact, farm by farm.
