Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook, stirring frequently, 20-25 minutes until thick and creamy.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly (it thickens more as it rests).
- Serve warm topped with toasted pecans or a drizzle of maple syrup.
