Cajun Sausage and Rice

1 cup Riceland Extra Long Grain Rice, uncooked
16 oz. kielbasa, slide and uncooked
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
2 cups okra, sliced
1 (16-oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (10.75 oz.) can chicken broth
2 cups water
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon hot sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste


In a large pan, combine all ingredients. Bring the mixture to a boil. Cover, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 20 minutes. Remove lid, and simmer for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
