Pecan Rice

Pecan Rice dish


1 cup Riceland Parboiled Long Grain Rice
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green onion tops
2 Tablespoons minced parsley
1 Tablespoon brown sugar


  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. In a skillet, sauté the remaining ingredients in butter until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the sautéed mixture to the hot cooked rice.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Serve warm.
