Smoked Rice

Smoked Rice dish


1 cup Riceland Extra Long Grain Rice
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can chicken broth
2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke
salt and pepper to tast


Cook rice according to package directions.  Saute celery and onion in butter until tender.  In a large bowl, mix soup, broth, liquid smoke, salt and pepper.  Add cooked rice and sauteed vegetables and mix well.  Pour into prepared 9 by 11-inch casserole dish.  Bake uncovered 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
