Spicy Beef and Brown Rice
1 cup Riceland Natural Brown Rice
1 pound extra lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium jalapeno pepper, minced
1/8 teaspoon crushed garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tomato, chopped
- Prepare rice according to package directions.
- In a medium skillet, brown beef with onion, jalapeno, and garlic (about 10 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink). Salt and pepper to taste. Fold in chopped tomato.
- Serve on a bed of hot, cooked brown rice.
- Serves 4.
