Western Beans and Rice
1 cup Riceland Natural Brown Rice
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup sliced celery
1 tablespoon Rice Bran Oil
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
3 cups cooked pinto beans, drained
- Prepare rice according to package directions.
- In large skillet, saute onions and celery in oil until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, water, pepper sauce, and beans. Heat thoroughly. Serve over hot rice.
- Serves 6.
