Brown Rice: Slightly chewy texture with a nutty flavor when cooked. Brown rice comes from the same grain as white rice and goes through less processing, only the outer hull is removed.

Long Grain Rice: Remains separate and fluffy when cooked. The bran layer is removed during processing. This rice’s mild taste makes it a perfect base for many dishes.

Parboiled Rice: Parboiled rice goes through a steam and pressure process to create separate kernels when cooked. The golden color occurs from thebran layer being forced into the kernel during the parboiling process. Often used in soups and other recipes where kernels need to remain separate.

Medium Grain Rice: This variety has a short, wider kernel making it perfect for stickier recipes such as desserts, sushi, etc.
